Cleveland Cavaliers Head to Playoffs After Season Surge

Dominant Ending to Regular Season

The Cleveland Cavaliers concluded their regular season with a powerful surge, winning 12 of their final 15 games to secure a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Led by All-Star guard Darius Garland and center Jarrett Allen, the Cavs finished with a 48-34 record, good for the sixth seed.

Timely Hot Streak

Cleveland's late-season resurgence was crucial, as they entered the final month of the season clinging to a play-in tournament spot. However, the Cavs caught fire, posting an 8-2 record in March and a 4-1 mark in April to clinch a top-six seed.

Garland emerged as a key figure in the team's success, averaging 21.7 points and 8.6 assists per game during the final stretch. Allen also played a pivotal role, providing a steady interior presence with 16.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per contest.

The Cavaliers will now face the seventh-seeded Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs, with Game 1 set for Sunday, April 16.
